We're Expanding Our Family

Cody and I knew we want to start a family ASAP.  A month after we were married, a positive pregnancy test was in my hands!  I was so excited I called Cody right away as I couldn't wait until he was done work.  I remember his voice, are you sure.. maybe you should take another one to be sure.  I took three test and took a picture of them all, Caption stated to Cody,  Is this enough proof.  He was so excited!  We decided to tell our mothers and my grandmother the same day.  As time led on, and our pregnancy continued to be successful we would tell a new person each week.  On our 11th week we officially announced our pregnancy by posting a sonogram picture on facebook.
Our pregnancy has been pretty easy, no morning sickness, no mood swings, a few food aversions and during the first trimester I was pretty tired, naps probably every day.  I hear I'm a lucky pregnant lady.  Lets see, second trimester is going very well, I have lots of energy, my food aversions are diminishing, no morning sickness and barely any naps.
I am currently 24 weeks and so far I have gained approximately 26lbs.  Crazy huh, seems excessive but the doctor said i'm fine.  I was in so much love at week 22, I was finally able to feel Jett kick.. Oh yes, I said Jett.  Its a boy!!  Megan my cousin threw Cody and I a gender reveal party and it was so much fun.  Even the old wise  tales said he was going to be a boy!  At the end of our party, Cody and I had asked Megan and Jared to be our Jett's Godparents.  There is nobody that takes care of their children more or anyone who we trust more than the two of them.  We are so excited they accepted the responsibility!

He's a Boy

Wedding!!!
      I must apologize for not posting sooner, each day seemed to slip by.  CODY AND I ARE MARRIED!  So lets see, after two visit to Key West Florida we decided to have our special day at the Waldorf Astoria Casa Marina!  It was very beautiful!
     Cody and I had the most beautiful wedding we have ever seen!  We took our closest family and friends for a 5 day vacation/wedding celebration.  On the first day we had a welcome dinner to show how much we appreciated everyone taking time out of their busy schedules to be with us.

   Our second day we had a scavenger hunt around Key West with was a blast despite the heat!  The evening of the second night was our rehearsal dinner, we invited all to partake in this festivity as we had it hosted on a three level catamaran.  The dinner was good and Cody loved his Grooms Cake!   We had live music, they were great and my Dad got up and sang with them!  Oh so proud!!

  Our third day was our wedding day June 29!  This day felt like forever, I missed Cody so much as I didn't see him since the night before.  I love waking up to his face!  Well the girls and I got our our nails/make-up/hair done.  My maid of honor Fallon and I received an hour long massage!  ahh relaxing.. It was so nice watching the vendors set up our ceremony site and our reception site, so pretty and oh the flowers, so many flowers.  Our wedding was broadcasted live so our friends and family that could not be with us could still watch.  Everything was just breath taking, there was no hesitation and we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.  Cody and I had a blast!  During our reception, our live band was awesome and Dad once again showed off his vocals and sang with them!  I love it!!  Everyone was cheering him on!  After the festivities a bunch of us went out to Duval Street to continue to party, "Sloppy Joes" was fun and I forget a few other bars but we had a blast.  Finally went back to the hotel around 2ish/3ish... We needed our beauty rest.. lol

    Our fourth day was the snorkeling adventure on the three level catamaran.  Again, what a blast, we had lunch and desert on the boat.  Most people made it, some with hangovers from the night before.. All such a great time.  That evening we had dinner as a whole at Margaritaville.  Delish food and Cody gave the sweetest speech, thanking everyone for coming especially his grandpa for making our whole wedding possible.  And the words he said to me, ohh just made me know how much he loves me and how much I cherish him!
    Our final Day we had a send off brunch, as everyone was heading home Cody and I were heading to the Bahamas.  It was sad to leave everyone, especially my side of the family and friends since I don't get to see them enough.  Living 10 hours away stinks, really miss the family and friends bonding time.
    Looking back at our wedding, it all happened so fast!  It was all so very beautiful and thank you to my Mother-In-Law Cindy and Cousin-in-law Megan for making everything for our wedding happen!  We are truly blessed.
   
   

1st Blog

   Today is the day I become a follower.  I have decided to start blogging! This point in my life marks the happiest I have ever been.  I have the most amazing boyfriend, well as of three weeks ago I can now call him my fiance!  Yup, I am engaged and I couldn't be any happier!  We went to Jamaica for our very first vacation and he surprised me with a proposal!!  I'm such a lucky girl.  

        Lately, we have been super busy planning our wedding.  Lucky for Cody and I, we have awesome assistance, a Wedding Planner who happens to be Cody's Cousin and Cody's Mom both of which are doing phenomenal job.  Mom is providing just as much assistance getting our Pennsylvania Guests ready for our special day.  

         Monday marks an important day, we are visiting two locations to host our destination wedding..  Yes, a destination wedding.  What could possibly be better then getting our families together for a 5 day vacation?  I say nothing!  We are lucky to be able to spend time with Cody's family, however we don't get to see my family as much as I would like.  Therefore I am so Gitty to have so much family and friends time!  Once we have confirmed our location I will be sure to post some pics.  As of now here a few from Jamaica..
